August 23, 2023 - Intimidator Group Celebrates Employees & Families
Intimidator Group recently held a Family Day Celebration on Saturday, July 29. Employees and their families were invited to a luau and pool party at the Batesville Community Center and Aquatics Park.
“Family has always been at the heart of Intimidator Group, so we wanted to plan an event that celebrates our employees and their loved ones,” stated Wiley Osborn, Human Resources Manager, Intimidator Group. “We packed in everything we could think of for a summer party—fun family games, great food, photos, prizes and, of course, a dip in the pool. We had an excellent turnout and look forward to hosting more events like this in the future.”
Upon arrival, guests registered for door prizes and were presented with a gift bag, including custom beach towels and frisbees. Dinner featured barbeque plates from Cowboy’s Barbeque with festive fruit skewers from Natalie’s and snow cones provided by Pink Puppy Sno. Along with swimming, indoor activities included an island-themed photo booth, giant yard games, putt putt golf, flamingo ring toss, coconut bowling, a baggo tournament and a tacky tourist costume contest.
Winners of the baggo tournament were Brandon Patterson and Ezekeial Webb, both members of the Intimidator Group engineering team. Second place winners were Larry and Violet Hamby, members of the operations maintenance and customer care teams, respectively. First prize in the costume contest was awarded to Andre Matthews, lead welder.
“Our team planned an awesome event to celebrate what it’s all about at Intimidator Group, and we appreciate everyone who came out and made the night such a success,” said Mike Groeneveld, Operations Director, Intimidator Group. “A great time was had by all.”
