Our product development and engineering teams have been working hard over the last year to bring updates to our lineup that improve durability, functionality, and performance. Along with three new models, the 2024 lineup features several deck upgrades for the RZ-Pro and up.
DECK HEIGHT PIN SYSTEM
We’ve replaced the rotary height-of-cut system with a magnetic pin height adjustment. This redesigned magnetic pin secures the deck placement to ensure we’re providing the most consistent and robust system possible for adjusting cut height. In addition, we improved the correlation between our blade height and our pin system settings to provide a true height of cut, and we optimized our linkage geometry to maintain a more consistent rake through the full travel of our deck.
SERIAL PLATES
Serial numbers are now displayed on the floor plate using riveted plates rather than stickers placed under the seat. Numbers are easily visible without worry of the sticker fading or wearing off, and the new plates feature a QR code that owners may scan to pull up their manuals and warranty statements.
SPINDLES
All spindles on the RZ-Pro and up are now a robust design featuring a 6-bolt pattern rather than 4 to more evenly distribute the force upon impact. Read more about this upgrade in our product update for spindles.
PULLEY COVERS
The redesigned pulley covers are offset from the deck all the way around to allow for easier debris removal. Rather than trying to blow grass from just one end of the pulley cover, clippings can easily be removed from any angle. Plus, the open design helps reduce the buildup of grass clippings in the first place.
