BRIGGS & STRATTON

The Vanguard engines that are available to choose from when building your Spartan Mower include: 26HP, 27HP, 28HP, 32HP, 36HP, 37HP, and the 37HP with Vanguard EFI and Oil Guard.

KAWASAKI

A division of Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., Kawasaki® Engines distributes gasoline engines and parts for the commercial landscape, industrial, and consumer markets. The division is headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, and services customers through its network of over 7,500 independent dealers throughout the United States, Canada and South America. Kawasaki Engines designs and builds top-of-the-line commercial and residential small lawn mower engines - from walk behinds to zero turns and other turf and construction equipment. 

Spartan Mowers come with several Kawasaki engines to choose from. Some of these include 23HP, 24HP, 26HP, and the FT-730 24HP. All are designed to give you the power you need in a zero turn!

KOHLER

The beginnings of KOHLER® engines can be traced back to 1920 when the KOHLER Automatic Power and Light 1500-watt Model "A" generator set was introduced. Designed to serve rural markets, it delivered 110-volt DC current and was powered by a KOHLER four-cylinder water-cooled cast iron gasoline engine. Through the years their technology grew, and now provide power for home and garden products, to high speed diesels for the U.S. Navy. KOHLER engines have been battle-tested at the South Pole, Hoover Dam, WWII and victory lane. And today, they power the toughest equipment in the commercial world. From heavy construction to lawn and landscape, the pros count on KOHLER. Every KOHLER engine is meticulously quality-tested start to finish.
