Spartan Mowers introduces the new RZ Series zero-turn for 2020. Our TUFF-TORQ transmissions and easy-to-adjust seats are just a few of the mowing advantages Spartan brings to the table this year. Standard features on the RZ include new decks that are engineered with 7-gauge reinforced steel, and engine options ranging from 23 to 25 horsepower. The base RZ has 22” bias-ply tires, and radial tires come standard on the RZ Pro and RZ HD, with the RZ HD bumping up to 24” rear radials! The Spartan RZ Series performs like a commercial grade mower with a residential MSRP starting at $4,899.
The RZ offers three series options, the RZ, RZ Pro and RZ HD. The RZ with 54” deck can maneuver through tight spaces with ease, and is an absolute beast of a machine for residential use (and it looks great too!). Upgrade to an RZ Pro or RZ HD for more deck size and engine options.
All new for 2020, the Spartan RT Series mower is unbelievable - featuring an all new 360-degree floating RT Dymetrol® seat system. With GT-Trac precision controlled steering and standard 24” rear tires, you are guaranteed to have the baddest mower on the block. Other features include the XTF Deck System, Parker HTE 10cc transmission on the RT Pro and Parker HTJ 12cc on the RT HD, and engine options from 24 to 27 horsepower - with an MSRP starting at $6,199. The Spartan RT PRO and RT HD offer a dollar-for-dollar value that is a cut above the competition. Speaking of cut, the RT HD can mow at speeds up to 11 mph, cutting 7.20 acres an hour!
The RT Series is packed with the basic features that make Spartan stand out from the rest: an easy touch brake system, ergonomic cockpit, foot assist easy-lift deck, straightforward design for easy add-ons and maintenance, vibration-control deck system, and state-of-the-art push start instrument panel. The Spartan SRT Series offers the PRO, HD, and XD version mowers to accommodate small and large commercial jobs. Standard features in 2020 include independent rear suspension, full suspension seat with 3” of travel, and a new enhanced XTF Deck System. The SRT HD comes standard with stress relief pads and rear aluminum wheels. Engine options range from 28 to 37 horsepower, and can mow just under 9 acres an hour with speeds up to 13 mph! The most prominent feature is that all SRT Series mowers are equipped with an improved Smart Ride Technology package. Middle and back Elastomer TecsPak® and front neoprene cushioning absorb any shock or jostling. This, along with our soft ride rear radial tires and our frame design with neoprene torsion bar makes the SRT the smoothest riding mower on the planet.
